Welcome To Our Farm

Our oysters are raised and freshly harvested in the salty waters of Grand Isle, Louisiana. We begin the farm-raising process from the seed stage, oftentimes as small as 0.5-1.5mm, using sustainable aquaculture principles that promote the growth of a full beautiful oyster. Our daily farm management and oyster cultivation process allows us to grow, harvest, and deliver a clean, fresh, savory product to our restaurants, distributors, and our clients & customers with home deliveries.

Our farm is located in a geographically flawless location for growing and harvesting oysters in waters with ideal salinity, nutrients, and water movement for growing the best quality oysters you can get your hands on. Being one of the southernmost farms in Louisiana located in area 13, our product typically maintains a salinity that is almost incomparable for other locations to compete with. Our aquaculture process is labor-intensive, combining surface cultivation methods with longline basket suspension, religiously cleaning, tumbling, raising, and sorting the finished marketable product. The process results in a full, clean, and very unique appearing oyster. Topwater Oyster Company produces and delivers one of the saltiest and most savory premium farm-raised oysters around.
